Excellent router, unfortunately the price at the time seemed awesome, I picked up a Skil router table which included a brand new Router for not much more at a local DIY store. For the uses I intended it for (light duty, hand held routing, to avoid having to change the router bits) this router is absolutely superb.Again, CPO reconditioned tools have not let me down.
The window on the front is large enough to see what you're doing in most cases, but you'll either want to work in a well-lit area or have a flashlight handy, because not a lot of light gets into the cutting area. Fits standard router bits, and has good grips for maneuvering. There really isn't much to say about this thing. It does what its supposed to without problems.
WELL THE FIRST ROUTER SHOWED UP BUSTED UP IN 4 PLACES I COULD NOT BELEAVE IT AND SO THEY SHIPPED OUT ANOTHER AND WHEN I SAW HOW BUSTED UP THE BOXES WHERE I COULD NOT BELEIVE IT WAS IN GOOD SHAPE WELL ALL I COULD DO WAS TURN IT ON AND BOY IT SURE SOUNDS GREAT AND WORKS WELL NO COMPLANTS EXCEPT THE WAY IT WAS TREATED JUST TO GET HERE THANKS GUYS
I have used it in a router table also and it works remarkably well there, as long as you are mindful of the 1/4 inch bit limitation. Bought this re-conditioned on sale for $30. You're not going to build major furniture with this, but if you want to be able to do most other things that a 1/4 inch shaft router will do, this is an excellent buy. I think it regularly sells for $60, and quite frankly, I would not be unhappy with it at that price either. Best $30 I've ever spent. If you need/want a 1/4 inch shaft bit router, you can't beat this for the money.
